Tear-away backing Soft for chest and sleeve logos - polyester 60 gsm, white
This white precut sheet in 20cm x 20cm gives you the right-sized backing for chest and sleeve logos, with no cutting from the roll needed. The soft grade of this tear-away backing, made from 100% polyester nonwoven, sits flat and unobtrusive against the fabric and tears away cleanly after stitching, leaving no residue - ideal when the back of the embroidery needs to stay as flat as possible. At 60 gsm it particularly suits t-shirts, polo shirts and other jersey garments, where soft wearing comfort matters most.
Application
The white colour suits light-coloured fabrics, where a dark backing would otherwise be visible. For larger designs, the same backing is also available precut in 25cm x 25cm and 40cm x 40cm.
Ironing
Iron only on a low setting (one dot, approx. 110°C) without steam, directly over the embroidery.
