Cut-away backing for chest and sleeve logos - polyester 80 gsm, white
This white precut sheet in 20cm x 20cm is an sturdy cut-away backing that gives you the right-sized backing for chest and sleeve logos, with no cutting from the roll needed. Made from 100% polyester nonwoven, this cut-away backing stays permanently behind the design after stitching and prevents distortion even after repeated washing; it is then simply trimmed around the embroidery. At 80 gsm it is suited to medium to high stitch counts and denser, larger-scale designs and runs reliably on ZSK single- and multi-head embroidery machines.
Application
The light colour suits thin or light-coloured fabrics where a dark backing might show through - such as jersey, piqué, knitted fabrics, performance textiles and delicate fabrics. For larger designs, the same backing is also available precut in 25cm x 25cm and 40cm x 40cm.
Ironing
Iron only on a low setting (one dot, approx. 110°C) without steam, directly over the embroidery.
