Tear-away backing Hard for chest and sleeve logos - polyester 60 gsm, black
This black precut sheet in 20cm x 20cm gives you the right-sized backing for chest and sleeve logos, with no cutting from the roll needed. The firm (crisp) grade of this tear-away backing, made from 100% polyester nonwoven, is engineered for industrial embroidery: reliable stability at high stitching speeds and precise registration for small lettering, outlines and multi-colour logos. At 60 gsm it is our standard grade for most cap and emblem applications.
Application
The black colour prevents the backing from showing through dark fabrics. For larger designs, the same backing is also available precut in 25cm x 25cm and 40cm x 40cm.
Ironing
Iron only on a low setting (one dot, approx. 110°C) without steam, directly over the embroidery.
