Tear-away backing Soft for chest and sleeve logos - polyester 60 gsm, black
This black precut sheet in 20cm x 20cm gives you the right-sized backing for chest and sleeve logos, with no cutting from the roll needed. The soft grade of this tear-away backing, made from 100% polyester nonwoven, sits flat and unobtrusive against the fabric and tears away cleanly after stitching, leaving no residue - ideal when the back of the embroidery needs to stay as flat as possible. At 60 gsm it particularly suits t-shirts, polo shirts and other jersey garments, where soft wearing comfort matters most.
Application
The black colour prevents the backing from showing through dark fabrics. For larger designs, the same backing is also available precut in 25cm x 25cm and 40cm x 40cm.
Ironing
Iron only on a low setting (one dot, approx. 110°C) without steam, directly over the embroidery.
