Tear-away backing Hard for chest and sleeve logos - polyester 80 gsm, white
This white precut sheet in 20cm x 20cm gives you the right-sized backing for chest and sleeve logos, with no cutting from the roll needed. The firm (crisp) grade of this tear-away backing, made from 100% polyester nonwoven, is engineered for industrial embroidery: reliable stability at high stitching speeds and precise registration for small lettering, outlines and multi-colour logos. At 80 gsm it is our heavier grade for dense, large-scale logos and high stitch-count designs on hard-wearing fabrics.
Application
The white colour suits light-coloured fabrics, where a dark backing would otherwise be visible. For larger designs, the same backing is also available precut in 25cm x 25cm and 40cm x 40cm.
Ironing
Iron only on a low setting (one dot, approx. 110°C) without steam, directly over the embroidery.
