Tear-away backing Soft for chest and sleeve logos - polyester 80 gsm, white
This white precut sheet in 20cm x 20cm gives you the right-sized backing for chest and sleeve logos, with no cutting from the roll needed. The soft grade of this tear-away backing, made from 100% polyester nonwoven, sits flat and unobtrusive against the fabric and tears away cleanly after stitching, leaving no residue - ideal when the back of the embroidery needs to stay as flat as possible. At 80 gsm it particularly suits denser designs on sweatshirts and polos, where extra stability is needed without losing the soft handle.
Application
The white colour suits light-coloured fabrics, where a dark backing would otherwise be visible. For larger designs, the same backing is also available precut in 25cm x 25cm and 40cm x 40cm.
Ironing
Iron only on a low setting (one dot, approx. 110°C) without steam, directly over the embroidery.
