Workshop 4: Building μC-Based Projects
Building μC-Based Projects - Sensor-Controlled Output System for E-Textiles;
Are you interested in exploring the exciting world of smart textiles, but not sure where to begin?
Our workshops are designed to guide you through the process of creating your own electronic textiles.
Explore the possibilities of embroidery technology as a new medium to produce e-textiles.
Our experts will introduce you to the world of technical embroidery and help you produce unique and innovative applications for smart and e-textiles.
Diversify and expand your offerings by incorporating smart textiles into your product line.
No matter your current skill level, we'll guide you through the process, from learning the electrical foundations to digitizing and integrating electronic components seamlessly into your embroidery projects.
Our workshops are designed to be accessible to beginners while still providing valuable insights and techniques for more experienced professionals. Each workshop is structured into two components: Electrical Engineering and Embroidery Technology.
The Electrical Engineering component covers the electrotechnical foundations, main components, and an introduction to programming. You will have hands-on experience in performing specific measurements and designing your circuits, empowering you to apply your newly acquired knowledge to real-world applications.
The Embroidery Technology component focuses on the digitizing and production of reliable e-textile products. You will gain valuable insights into the theory behind embroidery technology and the materials used for smart and e-textiles. During the practical part, you'll have the opportunity to digitize a design and embroider it on our machines, allowing you to see the full potential of this exciting technology.
Additionally, each workshop includes a take-home sample, to inspire your own future creations.
