Braille embroidery – exclusively on ZSK embroidery machines
What is Braille?
Braille is a writing system for blind people consisting of patterns of dots. The dots are felt with the fingertips to enable reading. Each character consists of 6 dots, which can be combined in 64 different ways. This allows letters, numbers, musical notes and many other symbols to be represented.
Whether it's a business shirt or your favourite trainers – almost anything can be embroidered
Using a patented embroidery technique, all textiles can be embroidered with Braille. Unlike conventional embroidery techniques, this method achieves the necessary raised relief to ensure that the individual dots of the Braille script are legible. Necessary information, such as initials for identifying school clothing, colour details or care instructions, can be embroidered onto all textiles. The embroidered aid hardly alters the textile and does not restrict comfort or care.
