Embroidered Butterfly with LED Wire
This stunning prototype showcases the possibilities for integrating illumination into textiles using embroidery. It is achieved by combining the W-head for Tailored Wire Placement (TWP) of LED wire and the F-head for decoration.
The LED wire features tiny, yet bright LEDs spaced at a 10 mm pitch. Thanks to its high energy efficiency, a single CR2032 coin cell battery is sufficient to power the sample for days. The battery is conveniently included in the package.
